I live in South Wales with a beautiful and long suffering wife, and an equally beautiful daughter. We are occasionally accompanied by WIlf, my daughter’s Cockapoo, so he might make the occasional appearance.

What do I do? Well, I’m a nurse, or rather I was until I retired in 2023. And I am lucky that my job took me overseas a lot, though the trips don’t always give me time to explore. So to compensate we try to visit as many places as we can when the opportunity arises. Auntie has found a list of 100 Places to Visit in Wales. Over the years we’ve been to many, but decided that we’ll visit them all again. Luckily there are more than a few visits that required me to eat and drink something.

When I look back on my earlier blogs they are pretty simple, but I am trying to improve my writing skills. However, I am the wrong person to judge if this is working.

I also have another blog which is trying to document the wildlife that I stumble across on our rambles. So if you are having difficulty sleeping then this might be soporific enough. Not sure if I’m selling this very well. https://paulsbackgardensafari.wordpress.com
